Here are some words you don't often hear when someone talks of doing a major renovation - "it was a relatively pleasant experience and we loved our contractor".
We renovated a townhouse in Brooklyn Heights - a complex project on a tight budget. We talked with a half dozen contractors and chose Go2Builders . We were impressed with Martin’s expertise and ability to explain options and potential costs. We're really glad we did - working with him exceeded all expectations. The process was relatively stress-free; issues and surprises come up in a renovation of an old house, and Martin explained options and solutions in a way that we could understand, and helped us find the most cost effective plan forward. Their deep understanding of all the trades is unusual in a contractor, so it allowed them to find fixes and creative solutions that delivered an incredible result. The project was delivered on time, with no budget surprises, and most importantly, the quality of the work was exceptional - the tile, millwork, paint - all beautiful; appropriate for a very expensive home in one of the best neighborhoods in New York. We couldn't have been more pleased with the result, and we grew to trust their judgement and how they were careful with our money, so we worried less than many of our friends who did similar renovations. So much so, that we are enlisting their help with a new renovation we are doing in Boulder, Colorado.
